The Oaks

The Oaks is a beautiful, high-end neighborhood centrally located in Chapel Hill. First developed in the 1970s, home construction has continued since then although there are currently just a few remaining lots for sale. It looks and feels like a well-established neighborhood of stately homes on large, well-manicured lots. Prices range from the $500,000s to almost $3 million. The Oaks community surrounds the Chapel Hill Country Club’s golf course, designed by John LaFoy, and many homes have golf course views. While membership in the private club is not a requirement, many homeowners do join and enjoy its amenities. In addition to the golf course, the club has an impressive tennis court complex, a swimming pool and snack bar, and a clubhouse with meeting rooms and several dining options.
